Hello, I'm Freya
Long before we find the words, our bodies are already holding our stories.
My role is simply to help you listen.
Long before we find the words, our bodies are already holding our stories.
My role is simply to help you listen.
I help individuals across all life stages reconnect with their bodies, navigate transitions, and find self-expression beyond words. I invite you to explore your movement story in a safe space, at a pace that feels right for you.

My practice is rooted in a Person-Centered approach, honouring you as the ultimate expert of your own experience. When appropriate, I gently integrate a Gestalt approach—inviting you to explore through guided movement, creative improvisation, and props.
Movement exploration can touch deep emotional themes, making safety and containment essential. To keep every session grounded, safe, and contained, my work draws from established Dance Movement Therapy frameworks—including principles from Marian Chace, Rudolf Laban, Irmgard Bartenieff, and Dr. Suzi Tortora.
Supporting life transitions, emotional well-being, and personal growth. Sessions provide a safe space to cultivate somatic awareness and deepen your relationship with self.
Drawing on 8+ years in Special Educational Needs (SEN), I tune into each child’s unique movement language. Through modalities such as props, rhythm, and embodied attunement, I support self-regulation, communication, and physical expression for what words cannot always capture.
Dedicated support across 1:1 and group settings. Individual sessions can focus on emotional processing and life shifts, while groups can use mindful movement to support functional mobility and foster social connection.
For a long time, I operated almost entirely from my head—relying on my analytical mind to navigate a fast-paced world. Over time, this rational filter led me to ignore the quiet signals my body was sending: persistent shoulder tension, sudden fatigue, and a growing sense of mind-body disconnection.
During my eight years in Special Education, I observed that spoken words don't always tell the whole story—what a child says can often conflict with what their body language communicates as they make sense of their world.
Through Dance Movement Therapy (DMT), I discovered the power of a "Bottom-Up" approach. It gave me rich tools to attune to non-verbal movement cues, bridging communication gaps with children beyond surface words, while helping me restore my own inner balance and pace. As I became more attuned to my own body's shifts, a natural curiosity emerged around how we navigate life transitions and aging, leading me to extend my practice to support seniors.
Rooted in this journey, I felt a deep desire to share this practice with others—offering a compassionate, experiential space for individuals, children, and seniors seeking to explore their journey within my practice focus.
To ensure every session is held safely and professionally, my practice strictly aligns with established clinical guidelines and ongoing professional supervision.
